“Architecture, design and finishes are what people are looking for—that’s the big trend in Las Vegas right now,” says Ivan Sher of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties. “Over the past few years there’s been a new influx of custom home building. A lot of people are picking out lots and building architecturally relevant homes.” Thanks to this custom building boom, there’s more luxury inventory than ever before in the city. “In the past, only a few homes a year were listed for over $5 million or $10 million,” Sher says. “But now we’ve doubled and tripled those numbers.”

Atlanta

“The luxury market in Atlanta is full of opportunity right now,” says Bryan Schacht of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties. “It’s really increased over the last few years, due largely to the entertainment industry moving into the area. We have direct flights out of Hartsville International Airport all over the country and all over the world. It’s a city that is easy to get to, and we’re seeing so much more high-end demand coming into not only Atlanta but also the metro area as well.”
